Passion Play in Drumheller
Our Singles group went to the Passion Play in the badlands in Drumheller yesterday. It was an incredible play, very real, but too hot...ugh! It got to about 38 degrees and we all felt it! The nice thing was that we were sitting higher up, so by 5 the shade covered us, and that was such a relief! Nita, Shiloh and I went with Nita's friend Victoria, and we all had such a great day! Victoria admitted she was nervous coming with three church goers, but at the end of the day, she told us she had an awesome day and loved being with us! God is going to do something for that lady! I didn't get to take any pics of the actual play, but got some funny pics of our ride home. We rode in an open top jeep so of course, our hairdos were history from the first minute! Oh well, the price of fun, huh?

You're telling me...LOL! It was a nice day, a little too hot, but a great outing. We missed ya!
Ya sorry.. I was going to go up with Jason & James and then one of them.. not saying which one.. spent too much money at the Stampede Grounds... we are all pretty close so we all just backed out and I went to the rodeo and then we all met up for a bbq at my house. It was pretty hot.. but I love the sun so I would've enjoyed it... but oh well.. there's always next year. I've seen the play before.. so I didn't care if I wasn't able to make it. I ended up spending $200 at the Stampede too.. lol.. sooo much fun.. I got on the sling shot ride... SCARY!!! I don't even know how Steven convinced me to do it, except that he had to hold my hand. I actually passed out for a fraction of a second because I accidentally hyperventalated, that's how scared I was. Then we played a few games and I wont a teddy bear because the guy guess my weight lower by 22 pounds.. so at least I have something to show for! So much fun...
AAAGGHHHH! Jess, you are CRAZY! I am so not a ride person anymore, and just the thought of you on that thing makes ME hyperventilate! Poor you...thank God for Steven! LOL! Yea, ther eis always next year for the play; hey, if we all get our tickest before Christmas we get 20% off, so we should spread the word.
