A Poem from a Sister

Dear Lord, here I am today, again
With another prayer to say
I'd like to thank you for all the things
I have with me every day

Thank you Lord, for my new doll
The barbies, puzzles and books
For my canopy bed, it's so pretty
And my oven that really cooks

My little brother, well, okay
I think I am thankful for him
He's really not bad, for without him Lord
I'd probably be quite bored

And finally Lord, my sweetest Mommy
Who loves us with all her heart
For who else could teach us how to pray
That from us, You will never part.
