I received my first flowers from Charles last night and was so pleased with them! I LOVE roses! What woman doesn't though?

Finally the loooong wait is over...

I finally received my divorce judgement papers today, after a very long year of signing papers, frustrations, and delays. The actual divorce was finalized about 8-9 weeks ago, but waiting for the paperwork was what took the longest...now I have only to wait for the certificate(I need this to remarry) to come in the mail, and the whole ordeal is finished. I definitely didn't realize God had such wonderful plans in mind for me-to begin a relationship with such an amazing man, but after being separated almost 5 years, I was ready to find the right one. Charles is...really handsome!(lol);close to God, extremely sensitive to the will of God, a huge encouragement to me in the areas that I need it the most; sweet, gentle but firm with my children, and they love spending time with him; he never thinks of himself, always putting others first, and I am just so happy with the overall relationship! God knows what each of us needs!

Happy Anniversary to the most wonderful parents ever!

31 years! Wow! I am so thankful for such wonderful parents! They have been there for me through the good and the bad, thick and thin(literally! LOL!)and I am just so blessed to have parents that have stayed close to God as well! I love you Mom and Dad!

My baby is going to school this year!

You were six months old and full of fun,
With a blink of my eye, you were suddenly one.
There were so many things we were going to do,
but I turned my head and you turned two.

At two, you were very dependent on me,
but independence took over and you turned three.
Your third birthday, another year I tried to ignore,
but when I lit the candles, there weren't three, but four.

Four was a year that you really strived.
Well, look at you now, you're already five!
Now you are ready for books and for rules,
This year you go to school.

The big day came, you were anxious to go.
We walked to the bus going oh, so slow.
As you climbed aboard and waved goodbye,
I felt a lump in my throat and tears stung my eyes.

As time goes so fast, it's hard to believe
that just yesterday you were home with me.
And tomorrow when the bus brings you homeand you jump to the ground
you'll be wearing your cap and graduation gown.

So I'm holding to these moments as hard as I can,
because next time I look, I'll be seeing a man.

Family Dinner at Perkins

We all went out to Perkins Family Restaurant last Thursday; Emma and Charles colored a great picture, and of course, my little ham Logan had to get his picture taken too!

Guess what?

Ok, I'll tell you...I found someone! No, not just anyone, but someone! Charles has been attending the same church as I for sometime now, but we have only been passing acquaintances. A few months ago, we started talking to each other a little more, and we realized that there was a connection between us that was more than just a friendship. We have decided to date, but taking the whole relationship slowly, as my children need to get to know him as well. I am constantly amazed at his sensitivity, how well he interacts with Emma and Logan, and just as a whole, what an amazing man he really is. I am just blessed to be his friend, and now as his girlfriend, even more so! I am so happy, excited, a little scared, because I never want to make the same mistake I made before, but so thankful that God is giving me another chance to have the family life I have always prayed for. I covet all of your prayers for me too! I will try to get pictures as soon as I can, so you can all see how handsome he is"giggle"!!!

I got a new webcam, actually, the first one I've ever had, and it's a pretty cool little thing! So, ok, April, here are the pictures you said I needed to put up...of me! Unfortunately...LOL!

Eggs anyone?

Logan asked me to make eggs this morning. Ok, I know he likes scrambled so I was preparing them when he came in the kitchen. "Mommy, please make sure you make crumpled eggs for me!" Sigh...only Logan...LOL!
