New House!

Weeeelllll....I did it! Today I experienced a life changing event in our lives, and I am so...excited, stressed, worried, but most of all, so happy! And, NO, Becky, I did not get married!!! My parents and I have been living together under the same roof for almost 25 years. Yes, you read that right. I was married when I was 21, but was only together with my then husband for 4 years when my parents moved in with us. Of course after that as you know, we separated and my parents and I have been helping each other out by living together and sharing expenses. We have wanted to live in separate dwellings, but still close enough that my children would not lose the closeness they have formed with their grandparents. We have prayed about it for almost 4 years, since moving back here, and today, God answered our prayers. We found a place about 5 blocks from our current location, and even though it is not perfect it is what we have been praying for. My parents will have their own separate suite with a separate entrance, and I have a beautiful 3 bedroom upstaurs for my children and I. We prayed that it would be easy to get, and would you know, without references, credit or otherwise, we were told we could have it? We signed the lease today and move in May 1st. The unfortunate part is the damage deposit is, well, quite high so we are praying for that to come through by April 1st, but of course, we serve a great big God, so we'll see what happens with that!

We are truly thrilled over it all! I would still like to buy a house in the near future, but until we can, we are happy to get a place we really like and will be happy in! Also it will hopefully give me a chance to pay off the few debts I have so I can go into a new home clear!
