Funnies for today...and more

Logan asked for a chocolate wagon wheel today and I asked him to wait until after lunch. Following lunch, he ran into the kitchen and showing me his empty plate asked, "Can I have my tire now, Mommy?"

Emma had an appointment with a pedodontist last week to see about removing three of her baby teeth which already have adult teeth in place behind them. Her dentist kept insisting it would hinder the growth of the adult teeth, so after a 3 month wait, I finally got her into the specialist. He lloked at her teeth, then tricked her by getting her attention elsewhere and with a quick twist he pulled an upper tooth that was causing a sore on her upper lip from protruding, but never loosening. She cried for a few seconds, then laughed when she realized it was gone and he really had tricked her! Poor Haille cried too when Emma did because she thought the dentist had really hurt Emma...

I am asking for prayer for one of my dayhome moms. Sherri Divincentis discovered a lump in her breast a month ago and yesterday was told it was cancer. She is completely emotionally devastated and has begged me to pray for her. Her husband is a wreck, especially because it is a month until she sees a surgeon and he is so afraid it will spread in that time. They have told her it is extremely small and they are pretty sure they can get it, but cancer is such a scary word in itself. They have a tiny 18 month old precious girl, and they are just scared parents. Please keep her in your prayers!
