Power in the Blood!

Ok, I know everyone heard this last night, but I had to post it, because it was GREAT! First let me say we have just finished our second Harvest weekend with Pastor Tim Merritt, and it was incredible! It didn't help that I had a migraine on Saturday, but thank God it was short lived. Anyhow, I'm not sure the count for people receiving the Holy Ghost, but there were a few baptized and it is only going to get better! I am sooo excited! In his message last night, he was talking about being so full of God that it overflowed, and people everywhere could see it. Also that if a mosquito bit you, it would go away singing Power in the Blood! My kids loved that one, so I had to share it! LOL!!!

Sin overruled...thank God!

I had to share this with you all when I heard it! I don't know if you remember, but a couple weeks ago, Pastor King talked in church about Telus launching a new program for all cell phones to be able to order pornography, starting this January 1st. Well, this morning, on the radio, they said Telus has pulled this option as they have received floods of complaints from shareholders, religious leaders, and customers! Talk about a kick to the other side of humanity! Works for me!

New Colors!

Hey everyone! I got so sick of looking at black all the time I decided it was time for a change. Like it? Of course, seeing as I have a little girl who absolutely adores the color pink, it was a lost cause to try to change it to blue, which I DO prefer! Thanks Em! I hope all is well with everyone, and I will try to post some more things coming up this weekend. Emma is still battling that dreadful cold and hopefully this week she will get over the worst of it.

YOU HAVE BEEN SERVED!

The papers have been served, on Saturday, February 3rd, directly to John Miller at his father's place of residence. He immediately retained a lawyer, who sent a letter to my lawyer , which was received yesterday. In it he wanted to know if I was going to request more child support on top of the order we just received in November. Obviously, this is not even a possibility, and seeing as this was the only thing he seemed concerned about, the letter also stated if I did not pursue any more support, that he would allow the divorce to go through with no response from him. Yea!!!! I won't celebrate yet though...not till it's completely over with. I just want this to go through smoothyl and just be done. April 3rd the remaining papers will be filed and we should have an order in our hands by June 1st at the latest.

Happy Birthday Sis. King!

Beautiful, wise, full of laughter and love, my pastor's wife. Words could never say how much you mean to me. In my 25th year of knowing you, I can only say I could never ask for anyone as true as you to be a friend. I had my share of run ins with trouble as a teenager bent on having people, ok, guys pay attention to me, and if not for you and your gentle wisdom, who knows what kind of trouble I may have put myself in! The last 10 years of my life have been full of sorrow, disappointment, pain, and every other emotion on the scale, and you were there for me. When I could not possibly understand which direction to turn, you pointed the path out to me, and I am here today because of your prayers and guidance! Happy Birthday Sis. King!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Well, Valentine's Day is just another day for me, but I couldn't resist this cartoon. I like chocolate, like any other true woman(heehee)but it's not a necessity. I can take it or leave it. Too bad that cartoon wasn't true, huh?

Meet the Goff's!

I don't think I've ever put a picture of Rachel's dashing dude(er, husband) on here, but here he is with their adorable little guy, Kyzer. At forst I wasn't sure who he resembled most, but I see Daddy lots now! The prettiest big sisters ever are Haley Elisabeth, and Janessa Rebecca. Aren't they just the sweetest?

Waking in a winter wonderland!

I mean that literally! We woke up this morning to this beautiful scene! Yes, I do dislike snow most of the time, but this is just an amazing example of God's handiwork; who could not help but admire it?

Camelism?

Emma and I were rough housing today(playing) and pretending we were fierce animals. Ok, I know, weird, but that's what Mom's do best...anyhow, I pretended to bite her, and she whipped around and sitting on me said,"Mommy! You can't bite me, that's camelism!" Well, I lost it and proceeded to laugh, envisioning myself as a biting camel. ??? Ok , now that you have that picture in your mind I'm sure you'll laugh too...

Kyzer Goff at 4.5 months!

Hey, lucky you Sis King, you got to see him in person! One of these days...Isn't he just the sweetest? Well, at least I get to hear him all the time! That still doesn't make up for seeing him though...bummer!

Science Center fun

We had a blast at the Telus World of Science Center today. We received season passes at Christmas from my father in law so we can go more often this year! The feature film, Wild Safari was a bit much...we all left halfway through it...my stomach was so sick from the motion! The kids were more interested in the displays anyhow, so it was all just great fun!
